One of the things I’m excited about is the release of budget-friendly 360-degree cameras. When it was first introduced on YouTube and Facebook, I wished to find a camera that is compact, easy to use, and affordable. I guess my wish has been granted, as there are now so many models to choose from. If you’re looking to buy a camera, here are some of my top contenders:
Samsung Gear 360
If you’re using the latest Samsung smartphone, good for you. While not everyone can get his hands on this model, it still is one of the best in the 360-degree camera game. With its superb image resolution, you can quickly share your content via Wi-fi. Not only that, but the model is also water resistant and dust-proof. Perhaps you can check out filmmaker Casey Neistat’s 2016 holiday video to see what the camera can do.
LG 360 Cam
Unlike the first model in this list, the LG 360 Cam can be paired with most smartphones. The first wave of LG smartphones was known for the quality of their cameras, so it is a pleasure to see the brand going back to valuing the quality of their products’ cameras. With this stylish comeback, users will not be disappointed because it is easy-to-use and easy on the pockets with a price of $160.
If you’re looking for crisp images with a 2800 x 2800 pixel resolution, this is the camera for you. With a hefty built-in 64gb memory and a shock-proof body, you can take this to your next mountaintop adventure. This camera will allow you to shoot and share majestic shots on its own or via a smartphone app. It’s a bit pricey with a price less than $500, but from what I’ve seen, it will surely give you your money’s worth.
Don’t wait until everyone gets into the 360-degree craze. Get one of these camera models while they’re still new.
